ACTIVITIES

Climb and zip wire through the trees at the nearby Go Ape, fly birds of prey in the Kielder forest or whizz down a hillside on a grass sledge at Born in the Borders.

Want to see Ospreys? There are nests all around the Borders, several with cameras and volunteers on hand to help you catch a sight of these magnificent birds.

There are red squirrels too. And boat trips to see seals and puffins in the Farne Islands.  Click on the picture for some of our favourites.

There's a good selection of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, along with lovely coffee shops and tea rooms.

We can also recommend some other wonderful places in nearby towns and as Five Turrets guests, you will enjoy discounts at many of our food and drink partners. Click on the picture to meet our partners.
