The Five Turrets was shortlisted in the self catering category of the 2021 itravel staycation awards.
The awards were hosted by Countryfile’s Sean Fletcher on 10 June and received more than 1,000 nominations.
The Five Turrets was named as one of three runners up in a selection process involving 23 judges drawn from organisations including Which?, The Woodland Trust, Ramblers, Cool Camping and Sustrans.
Jayne McClure, CEO of headline sponsor The Travel Chapter, congratulated winners and finalists and said the awards helped to showcase "the incredible people and places throughout the domestic tourism industry".
“We hope the awards will inspire many happy holidays enjoying the best the UK has to offer this summer, as we enjoy a fantastic season of staycations," she said.
