This scrumptiously soft and drapey handwoven scarf is made using a hand dyed skein of wool which has been pooled in the warp to create faux ikat style colour graduation running lengthwise down the scarf. It's one of my favourite techniques. The weft is a purple silk yarn. The colours are as rich and luxurious as the scarf itself. And, as if the pooling and the silk weren't enough in this stunning item, I added a ladder lace detail at one end for some extra vavavoom.
It's warm enough to wear in chilly weather and light enough to wear just as an accessory. Absolutely one of a kind and a wonderful addition your wardrobe.
